1. Core power source for underground coal mines
It delivers high-pressure emulsion to hydraulic supports and single hydraulic props at fully mechanized mining faces to perform actions including prop lifting, prop lowering, support moving and scraper conveyor pushing, ensuring safe roof support.
2. Other application scenarios
Apart from coal mines, it is also used for hydraulic equipment that requires high-pressure hydraulic power, such as on-site high-pressure water jet cleaning equipment, heading machines and coal seam water injection facilities.
3. System status
Referred to as the "heart" of coal mine hydraulic supports, it is the only power source for the entire fully mechanized mining face. Its operating state directly determines the reliability of coal seam roof support and the advancing efficiency of the working face.
Working Principle
Core operating mechanism
The crankshaft and connecting rod drive the plungers to perform reciprocating linear motion. A vacuum is created to draw in fluid when the plungers move left; the emulsion is pressurized and discharged when the plungers move right, forming a continuous fluid suction and discharge cycle.
Main Components
- Emulsion tank: Stores, cools, recycles and filters the emulsion.
- Plunger pump unit: Converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy to output high-pressure fluid. Horizontal triplex or quintuplex plunger structures are widely adopted.
- Hydraulic control system: Consists of safety valves, unloading valves, accumulators, filters and other components for pressure regulation and safety protection.
Intelligent Functions
Modern intelligent pump stations are equipped with constant-pressure variable fluid supply, variable frequency speed regulation, automatic liquid proportioning, automatic monitoring of liquid level, oil level and temperature, as well as automatic dual-pump switching. These features greatly reduce energy consumption and enhance operational safety.
